The Images of Mark Harlow

I met Mark Harlow in Green Bay, Wisconsin some years back. He was fishing the North American Walleye Anglers tournament circuit. My plane ride home got screwed up and I hitched a ride back to Minneapolis with Mark in his car. We talked about fishing, listened to some great tunes and discussed the life of a freelance writer and photographer. Back then Mark was a successful printing coordinator working with some top artists in the industry like Les Kouba. His eye for art has served him well since now he uses it while looking through a viewfinder as he photographs the beauty in the outdoors and sells it from his studio in Walker, MN and from his websites. I find Mark’s work to be some of the finest in the world which is why I’m so pleased he has allowed me to share it with you on my website. Check out the images I’ve posted here, and take some time to visit one of Mark’s websites to see what else he has to offer. If you are looking for a scene to illustrate a wall in your home or place of business you will find what you’re looking for in one of Harlow’s images.

Flying in the Flying Fortress

I was extremely fortunate to be able to take a ride in the EAA’s B-17 Flying Fortress. It is a World War Two Bomber touring the country. There were 13,000 of these planes built and only ten left flying. For more information on this plane check out the EAA web site. There are lots of pieces of history that go with this plane and it is all there. I have some photos set up for viewing as well. The trip of a lifetime. Well worth the price of admission. For me that was letting people know what was available that fourth of July weekend as this was a media event and I was to discuss the ride on the Chris Baker Morning Show the next day. Check out the photos.

Fishing Alaska

It’s been a busy month since the Minnesota Opener. Fishing has been good in the Midwest and I was able to take a few days out of the crazy schedule and take a trip to Alaska to visit my son Jason and get in some fishing... Read More...
