There are many out there that know my job takes me to some outstanding places to hunt and fish and get into the great outdoors - but few realize that mixed in with the rods and guns is a set of well-worn golf clubs. I took up this sport when I was living in England back in the late nineties and I do thoroughly enjoy it. WELL - I finally decided to get a new set of clubs and after some discussion and research I visited one of the top club builders IN THE WORLD - Tom Cook - at Pat Ryan Golf and he custom fit me for the set. The reason I’m telling you this is because I began to realize if we want to hit our targets we get guns that fit us. If we want to efficiently troll for walleyes we get rods that are built for that situation. AND - if we want to have a decent game of golf; shouldn’t we get clubs that fit our swing? WOW, did I learn a lot in the fitting process. Now I’m not saying my game is going to be great; but I’m hoping. I do hope it helps and now that I realize how important it is to get clubs tuned to my personal swing I can say without a doubt I will always get any additional clubs fitted and set up to my specifications.
